Microneedling
Considering Microneedling for your skin?
Beautiful, fresh, glowing skin is an asset, giving the face and body a youthful appearance. A professional skincare regime helps to maintain, preserve and protect skin from sun damage, fine lines, and wrinkles – but as time passes, collagen production slows, and topical treatments are not enough. When it is time to take a bigger step to rejuvenate your skin, microneedling may be the right treatment option.
This amazing facial goes by many different names – the plasma facial, stem cell facial, Vampire Facial (partly made famous by Kim Kardashian), and the PRFM facial. No matter what it’s called, it’s one of the best facials ever for rejuvenating your skin and giving you an amazing “glow” with little to no downtime!
Healthy, Younger Looking Skin and Hair through Exceptional Science
Research has revealed the role stem cells play in tissue repair, particularly the skin. AnteAGE® pioneered the science of reactivating the skin’s natural regenerative properties by utilizing Stem and Growth Factor Cytokines derived from human bone marrow, the most natural and powerful option to restore youthful skin. The scientists behind AnteAGE® have harnessed the healing power of stem cells to regain your skin’s ability to behave youthfully, and heal beautifully.
Boost Your Skin’s Natural Healing System
Your skin works hard to protect you every day. Stem cells within your skin contain hundreds of different Growth Factors & Cytokines used to manage the healing process or nearly flawless regeneration. These are the most intelligent anti-inflammatory agents in your body. With young skin, our naturally occurring stem cells are robust and responsive, keeping skin smooth, elastic, and radiant. But as we age, we have fewer of these cells available to repair skin damage. Over time this damage adds up and our skin health deteriorates.
Growth Factors are now established by peer-reviewed research as the highest level of optimization in anti-aging skincare. The scientists behind AnteAGE have harnessed the healing power of stem cells to regain your skin’s ability to behave youthfully, and heal beautifully.
The AnteAGE® Difference
Our stem cells are derived from the bone marrow of young, healthy, pre-screened adult donors. The cells are cultured in a laboratory, within a controlled environment that fosters production of the biosignals that will engage in skin repair and rejuvenation. AnteAGE also offers products that support in-office skin treatments, such as microneedling or laser resurfacing. Following in-office treatments, users can shorten healing times and continue to increase rejuvenating benefits using AnteAGE® at-home system.

RF MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling has become a very popular procedure that stimulates collagen and elastic tissue remodeling, resulting in smoother and tighter skin. An innovative procedure called “RF Microneedling”, which combines traditional microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy, has become the latest go-to skin rejuvenation option. There are currently several available RF microneedling devices. However, the EndyMed device allows RR Skin Bar to have the widest selection of treatment parameters to customize your treatment for the desired effect. In fact, with this device, microneedle depth can be delivered up to 5 millimeters into the skin, deeper than any other RF microneedling device to date.
What is the difference between RF Microneedling and Traditional Microneedling?
Traditional microneedling uses a special device that creates micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the body’s own natural wound repair cells to remodel collagen and elastic tissue. This results in smoother, tighter skin and can reduce fine lines and improve acne scarring. Traditional microneedling can also be combined with platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy. Platelet Rich Plasma utilizes your own natural platelets to instruct the body to create new collagen to reduce the appearance of scarring and stretch marks, refine fine lines and wrinkles, and improve skin tone and texture with no downtime.
RF microneedling adds the element of radiofrequency energy to the traditional microneedling procedure. By delivering the RF energy under the skin, RF microneedling allows for safe targeting of the deep dermis (or even the fat layer in some body areas) without the risk of damaging the skin surface. This allows for effective tightening of the skin and remodeling of scar tissue (such as in acne scars). Prior to this innovative technology, heating of the deep tissue required energy delivery through the skin surface, which limits the amount of therapeutic energy that could be delivered to the deeper tissues. Too much energy could damage or burn the skin surface. RF microneedling delivers the energy from the tips of the needles, after they have fully penetrated through the skin surface.
Who is it for?
RF microneedling is appropriate for nearly all skin types. This minimally-invasive technique may be ideal for you if you wish to reduce the appearance of:
- Acne or acne scars
- Poor skin texture
- Sun damage
- Deep lines and creases
- Mild sagging or jowls
- Enlarged pores
- Stretch marks
- Skin Tightening
How many treatments are needed?
Most patients will need 3 treatments for full benefit, spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. However, results can vary from patient to patient depending on a variety of factors and severity of the underlying condition being treated.
What are the potential benefits of RF Microneedling versus other treatment modalities?
RF microneedling can result in many of the same benefits as traditional ablative resurfacing laser and skin tightening devices; however, RF microneedling can be performed with significantly less discomfort, downtime and risk.
What can I expect during the treatment?
After application of topical anesthetic, most patients are able to tolerate the relatively quick procedure with little to no discomfort. Treatment times vary, but usually 15 minutes for smaller areas and up to 45 minutes for larger treatment areas.
What can I expect after the treatment?
The skin is typically red and perhaps slightly swollen for the first day or two after the treatment; the redness is usually mild and less than what is typically seen after ablative laser procedures (such as fractionated laser resurfacing). There is little or no discomfort after the procedure, and most patients can return to regular activity on the day after the treatment. Given that the procedure involves the creation of small microchannels in the skin, we recommend avoiding any makeup for at least 3 days after the treatment session.
